Sarah Cunningham
Sarah has been in the floristry industry for over 25 years and has not only run her own shop in Ware, Hertfordshire but also worked as a Director for the British Florist Association. Sarah has always been passionate about the industry and still contributes by writing for magazines, judging at RHS events as well as local and national competitions.
Sarah is currently the Chair of the Photographic Committee for the UK Floristry Judges Guild
Sarah has a passion for travelling too, she has visited many countries around the globe and is always looking for fresh, innovative and exciting ideas that can inspire the floristry industry and her own designs. Inspiration from both East, West, North and South have contributed to Sarah’s knowledge of floristry.
Sarah believes that competitions are a vital part of floristry as they enable florists to push themselves beyond everyday work to complex and thought provoking designs. She also believes that anyone can do it, with determination and building on the skills that they have. She says “… the talent and determination of competitors to succeed and push themselves beyond their boundaries is truly inspirational … it never ceases to amaze me”
Sarah is an RHS Mixed Panel judge, she has been a judge at the Interflora Final 2018 and judged many competitions including RHS Florist of the Year, RHS College of the Year, RHS Young Florist of the Year, Worldskills UK heats and finals as well as floristry competitions at Harrogate, Tatton Park and RHS Hampton Court.
